Spring is Almost Here!

Spring type by Emily Laurel Harris

We are creeping up on my absolute favorite time of year. The time when we can finally open our windows, it stays light well after I have left work and we wake up to birds chirping in the morning. I can't wait.

Inspiration: Spring Patterns

The weather has been relatively mild, we've had lots of sun, and I've been out walking every day this week. I think it's fairly safe to say that the worst of winter is finally behind us! Spring Color

So much fabulous color this time of year-I love the way the air smells. Nothing better than lilac scented breezes blowing in your window!

Inspiration: Liz Tran

Today definitely felt like a Monday-just general yuck and blah. Therefore, I thought we could all use a little inspiration going into the coming week. I can't remember exactly how I found the work of West Coast artist Liz Tran, but it was love at first sight! Her pieces are so vibrant and dynamic. I love her use of color and pattern in the tree branches. I wish I could purchase a set of them! Her website has a huge collection of lovely pieces, and you can visit her blog here.
