Love: Pamela Michelle Johnson

I bookmarked Pamela Michelle Johnson's website a while back and rediscovered it today. How fun! I LOVE her work, it's totally my style. Large painting of gummi bears? SOLD. I totally want that one for my house. How inspirational-I think a Hostess cupcake pattern must be created in the very near future. Oh, and did I mention that these were done with oils? Amazing.

iPhone "paintings"

While browsing designworklife today, I came across these beauties made by Jorge Colombo. Apparently, they were all done on the iphone using the brushes application. Amazing no? Check out the whole collection here. Kind of makes me want one...

Inspiration: Liz Tran

Today definitely felt like a Monday-just general yuck and blah. Therefore, I thought we could all use a little inspiration going into the coming week. I can't remember exactly how I found the work of West Coast artist Liz Tran, but it was love at first sight! Her pieces are so vibrant and dynamic. I love her use of color and pattern in the tree branches. I wish I could purchase a set of them! Her website has a huge collection of lovely pieces, and you can visit her blog here.

Design Crush.

There are so many inspiring design blogs out there, it's very intimidating to start one of my own. I can only hope that one day this randomness (and my work) can be as amazing as Jess Gonacha's. I ADORE her work, her patterns are amazing and her use of color is just wonderful. I love everything about it.

Visit her Etsy shop here. I am thinking I will have to put in an order very, very soon!
