Fantastic.

We finally got out to see Coraline tonight and I must say I was blown away. It was amazing. AMAZING. This was the first movie I have ever seen in 3D, and I was skeptical until the movie began. I jumped and grabbed M's arm after something appeared to fly at me from the screen, and from that point on I was sold. I really think that the 3D aspect enhanced the experience quite a bit and it will be interesting to see the movie again in plain old normal vision. This movie is so detailed and so beautiful. Seriously, I can't stop raving about it. Go see it now, please.

  1. Yes, I must see this along with like 10 other things. I used to go to the movies all the time but now its mostly Netflix.

  2. I know! We Netflix so much because it's such a good deal. I think the last movie I saw in the theater was The Dark Knight, it's just so expensive. But trust me, Coraline is worth it, especially in 3D!

  3. Here's my problem, I'll plan to see something and then when I'm ready to see it, I've missed my window and it's gone! I love your new banner by the way!

  4. I liked the book when I read it, and the movie did not cease to impress me at a single part! Even when they added a certain extra character who wasn't in the book, they did a good job of not making him/her totally useless. It had the exact eeriness that the book was going for..

and the fact that the ENTIRE MOVIE was done in stop animation for almost 2 whole hours is INCREDIBLE.

  6. Seriously go, everyone! I think I might sneak in another showing this week before the Jonas Brothers movie takes over the 3D screen here.
