A Little Giveaway

As a thank you for reading this blog, I have decided that it's time to host a little giveaway! I am still convinced that most of my followers and readers are either spam or family members, and I am not saying that family is at all like spam, just to clarify!

So here's the deal: I will send a framed print of one of my patterns (US addresses only) to the winner. In the comments, leave me an idea for a fun pattern by Valentine's Day (2/14), and you are entered to win. I will pick my favorite and try to even make a pattern from the winning comment at some point in the coming year!

Happy weekend, y'all!

PS-The winner will get to pick what print they would like from a small selection of my patterns.

  1. Well, you know I'll join as basically one of your family members. Hopefully one of your non-family readers wins. Thanks for the chance to win. I think you should do an under the sea theme pattern, with starfish, octopi, and jellyfish!

  2. Oh! I love your patterns. What if you created one that was coffee-chat inspired? Doppio espresso con pannas for two?

  3. Sometimes my labradoodle, Oslo, likes to make his own pattern on our floor out of dog toys. (Or shredded ones, at that.) A puppy/toy/treat pattern would be adorable. Also, I've been watching the latest season of, "An Idiot Abroad," and I think it'd be fun to craft a pattern out of Bucket List items. :)

Since you're Design Gossip, what if you created a pattern out of juicy bits of quintessential gossip? My other idea is to make one out of El Caminos and other late 70s early 80s muscle cars. My first "car" was a baby blue El Camino, so I'm always nostalgic for them. Mine had an "A-ooga" horn, so I envision all the patterned cars "A-ooga-ing." ;)

  5. What if you listened to your favorite songs, and then created a pattern inspired by how you felt while listening? It's sort of hippie-dippie, but it could be fun. Put me down for one called, "Girl from Ipanema."

  6. I am not spam or a family member, so I think I win already. Hooray for me! However, as most of my pattern ideas include Ryan Gosling, I don't think I will win. Since baby 3 is due soon, I would love a fun pattern for the nursery. Anything book/library related would be AMAZING! Since you are the expert, you have to figure it out and wow me.

  7. Thanks for all of the comment love! These are all fantastic ideas, I am starting to think that maybe I should just make everyone patterns. :) Keep the ideas coming!
