Inspiration: Insel Verlag

I simply cannot remember where I found this link (Eep! Sorry!) but I had to share it with you, immediately. These books are gorgeous and after some Googling, I found that they were all published in Germany by a company called Island. It appears that they began in the late 1800's and used to publish a literary arts magazine as well. Oh how I love these, the covers, the illustrations, amazing! I wish I could get my hands on some copies, but I am sure they are quite difficult to find.
