My mom introduced me to this fantastic textile designer, Kim Parker. Her designs are so, so beautiful. My mom is a painter and her favorite subject is her garden, so I can see how Kim would be such an inspiration to her. I love seeing how Kim's work translates from her paintings, to rugs, plates, pillows, etc. Mom checked out her book from the library and it's quite nice, I may just have to add it to my list. Her children's book looks quite fun too! And I think that some of her great plates would fit perfectly into the crazy random collection of dinnerware that's building in my kitchen cupboards. Thanks Mom for the great find!
